Henigin Sr., 82, of Blairsville, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe.He was born May 23, 1935, in Latrobe and was the son of Edward V. Henigin and Catherine Rose (New) Henigin.He was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville.Bob was a 1953 graduate of Blairsville High School. He retired from PennDOT in 1989. He also worked as an advertising salesman for Kaeser & Blair and had worked at Blairsville Machine Products. He had operated a snack bar at Indiana Sportswear and ran the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Blairsville. He was a DJ for WMPT, Williamsport. He loved oldies music and songs. Bob was the president of the Young Democratic Club, Indiana, and had served on the Blairsville Borough Council and was its past president. He became acquainted with statesmen in the government. Bob liked going to “Long Drivers” camp in Coudersport and gardening.Surviving are his daughter Regina Beilstein and husband William, Butler; son Robert J. Henigin Jr., Homer City; and ex-wife Rose M. (Ondo) Henigin, Homer City.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Donald Henigin; and infant siblings William and Regina.In keeping with Bob’s wishes, visitation and services were private.Interment was in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville.James F.
